# Introduction

Applix Network is a pioneering platform that aims to revolutionize the landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing through the deployment of a decentralized GPU network. By harnessing the power of blockchain technology, Applix Network provides a secure, scalable, and cost-effective solution for AI computations and other demanding computational tasks.

Our platform allows users to contribute their GPU resources to a global network, earning rewards in the form of APX tokens. Conversely, those in need of computing power can rent these resources, enabling them to carry out intensive computations without the need for substantial capital investment in hardware. This dual approach not only democratizes access to advanced computational power but also fosters a collaborative ecosystem where resources are optimally utilized.

Based in Iceland, Applix Network originated from the private sector, initially providing computational power for AI model training using our fleet of approximately 400 GPUs. Recognizing the limitations of centralized computing models, we transitioned to a decentralized approach, integrating blockchain to secure the network and facilitate transparent, efficient payments.

With the network already established, Applix Network is set to open to the public as soon as our website goes live. Initially, participants will be able to join the network or rent GPU power through a simple Google form. Our decentralized application (DApp), which will provide a seamless and intuitive user experience, is scheduled for launch in late June or early July 2024. The token launch on June 12th, 2024, will mark a significant milestone in our journey, enabling a robust and incentive-driven ecosystem.

This whitepaper provides an in-depth look at the various components of Applix Network, including our technical architecture, infrastructure, features, use cases, tokenomics, and future roadmap. We invite you to join us on this transformative journey as we redefine the future of AI and high-performance computing through decentralized technology.
